Bio
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and raised in London, Ontario, Milo Gavin (Pokenem) is a pianist, songwriter, composer, and producer. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music at Humber Polytechnic in Toronto, Ontario, he spends his time practicing piano and making music.
Growing up, Milo found his love for music while playing Video Games. Inspired by artists such as Yasunori Mitsuda, Milo strives to make music that inspires others just as he has been inspired.
Before beginning his post-secondary education, Milo was involved in the London, Ontario music scene—playing piano, viola, and a variety of other instruments—with a number of different collectives, including:
- London Youth Symphony, 2022-2024
- London Central Secondary School Senior Orchestra, 2022-2024
- London Central Secondary School Senior Chamber Orchestra, 2022-2024
- London Central Secondary School Band, 2022-2024
- London Central Secondary School Jazz Band, 2022-2024
- London Central Secondary School Music Council President, 2023-2024
- Volunteer Mentor – Lester B Pearson School for the Arts Jazz Band, 2022-2024
